Abilene High Theatre Directors
Kyle Martin has been teaching theatre in Texas since 2003 and has been the head director at Abilene High School since 2017. He holds a B.F.A. in acting and directing from Abilene Christian University and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Mr. Martin began his teaching career in the Houston area before joining Abilene ISD in 2011, serving as an Assistant Director at Cooper High School for 5 years. Mr. Martin is married to Amanda Martin, a teacher at Bonham Elementary and has two daughters, both of whom attend Abilene ISD schools.

Raegan Gonzales is excited to join the Abilene High School Theatre department! She holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Stage Management from Hardin-Simmons University. Some of her favorite shows that she has been a part of include Wit, The Addams Family, It’s Only a Play, Silent Sky, and The Secret Garden. Mrs. Gonzales is married to Adrian Gonzales, a teacher at Wylie West Junior High.
